Floyd Empty Bowls is back for its 15th year – a beloved annual fundraiser supporting the NRCA Floyd County Backpack Program, which currently provides over 3,000 weekend meals to local students each month. Since 2007, this program has delivered over 600,000 meals.
🌾 Each full priced meal ticket* includes:
✔️ A handcrafted bowl made by a local artisan (yours to keep!)
✔️ Hearty soup, fresh bread, dessert & beverage
✔️ Live local music and a warm community vibe
*no-bowl tickets receive a disposable bowl for soup

The backpack program is 100% volunteer-run, with Floyd Rotary members assembling backpacks every Wednesday. With food costs currently around $650 a week, every ticket, donation, and shared post makes a difference.
