Hosted at the Altoona Curve stadium, the Flashlight Egg Hunt welcomes adults 18 years of age and older to don a headlamp, grab a bag or strap on a backpack, and scurry to gather as many eggs as possible in the dark. Once the lights are turned back on, participants can crack open their eggs to find candy or a paper to claim a special prize. Participants should come prepared with a headlamp/other light and bag or backpack to hold their eggs.
Cost is $20 per person for advance tickets purchased online, and $25 per person the day of the event.
Before the Egg Hunt gets started, attendees can purchase delicious food and drinks from Belly Busters, Dunny's Pizza, K&J BBQ, and Woodbury Cafe. Food trucks will be open beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the VIP entrance. Must be 21 to buy alcoholic beverages from Altoona Curve concessions. Enjoy Slingers Axe Throwing ($10 for 10 throws), music, cornhole, and games of chance on the concourse until the Egg Hunt begins at approximately 8:30 p.m. when it's dark.

All funds raised at the Flashlight Egg Hunt will benefit the Healing Patch Children’s Grief Program. Healing Patch services are completely free to the grieving children, families, school districts, and community members who are involved. As there is no reimbursement or funding for this peer support service and outreach, the Healing Patch relies on individual and community donations, grants, and fundraising events through the Home Nursing Agency Foundation for sustained support.
