Experience Native cultures through performances, presentations, and food while shopping for unique art.About this Event
Discover Native cultures through vibrant performances, engaging cultural presentations, and artwork by American Indian, First Nations and Alaskan Native artists. Browse a diverse range of jewelry, pottery, paintings, basketry, and more, and purchase work from more than 100 artists from across North America.
Enjoy delicious food from Native-owned businesses, try a signature drink crafted with Native-owned products, and enjoy performances by featured entertainment Turtle Island: From the Creation Story of the Haudenosaunee and Indigenous Enterprise (a dance company representing a diverse range of tribes and nations)
Turtle Island: From the Creation Story of the Haudenosaunee is an outdoor production, developed with Indigenous artistic leadership, that fuses dance, aerial puppetry and community engagement. A multicolored, parade-sized tethered balloon, the Turtle, floats above the stage as eight dancers from the Skywoman Iroquois Dance Theater present a moving visual and musical representation of Haudenosaunee cosmology. The performance preserves cultural heritage and shares it with wider audiences.
