It's time to free the Coho! They've been imprinting and growing, now it's time to send them off into the world.We'll do the release on the pier and then move to the beach and break down the frame. Should be a speedy effort if we have enough hands on the beach!
Let's meet at the Edmonds Fishing Pier @ 9AM (there's a high tide around the same time, makes it easier to pull the net onto the pier).
We need 15 people on the pier to haul the net up.
We'll also need 15 or so on the beach to make the frame breakdown into quick work.
Bring gloves, the net will be dirty. Bring some waders or boots for the frame breakdown. It would be great to get a power washer or two to clean the frame at the hatchery.
