The Chamber’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Collaborative is proud to present the 2026 DEI Summit on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, at DeSales University, University Center (2755 Station Ave, Center Valley, PA 18034) from 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The DEI Summit is a day designed to educate, connect, and inspire leaders and community members committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The day will open with a keynote panel conversation that sets the tone for the Summit, followed by engaging breakout sessions and a general session.
The keynote panel will focus on health equity, moderated by Corinne Goodwin of the Eastern PA Trans Equity Project. The discussion will explore how identity, access, and systems shape health outcomes across communities. Dr. Valerie Arkoosh, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, will serve as a panelist, sharing insights on Medicaid at the state level and its role in expanding access to care and supporting vulnerable populations. Dr. Baligh R. Yehia, MD, MPP, MSc, FACP, President of Jefferson Health will join the panel, offering a health system perspective on advancing equitable care and improving outcomes across diverse communities.
As part of the general session, participants will engage in facilitated table conversations, allowing for deeper dialogue, reflection, and idea-sharing inspired by the keynote and breakout content. These conversations are designed to help attendees translate learning into action within their organizations and communities.
Throughout the day, participants will gain practical tools, hear diverse voices, and build meaningful connections to strengthen DEI efforts within their organizations and across the region.
