We are pleased to announce that the 2026 edition of Deep Bench will be hosted at the University of Edinburgh on the 9th of May. Deep Bench is an open draft tournament that will be played on the same set as MRNA V; games will be played tossup-only either solo, as duos or as trios. Note that if you either play or moderate this tournament, you cannot play MRNA V.The tournament will take place at Murchison House, at the university's King's Buildings campus. The aim is to have a player briefing at 10:45, with games starting at 11am, and the tournament wrapped up by 6pm.
If you sign up as a player, please note that you will not be confirmed as playing the tournament until after the draft has taken place. In order to afford sufficient time to carry out the draft, the deadline to register as a player is 23:59 on Monday the 6th of April.
The fee to take part will be £25 per player. Moderators will likewise receive a fee of £25 for their services.
