Event purpose and goals:

• Creating lyrics and music pieces with a real chance of being established in the music market,

• Recording audio material in the recording studios prepared for this purpose,

• Improving the level of creation, execution, and production of music,

In conjunction with the Cutting Edge CE Conferences and Events

• Extending knowledge regarding the existing music market,

An increasing level of awareness regarding copyright regulations,

Popularizing creating activities in cooperation with other authors,

• will benefit from the royalty split in activities relating to the music culture actively.

• Making contacts and sharing experiences with other authors.

Dates and locations:

August 26 – 29, 2026

Head Quarter: InterContinetal New Orleans Hotel (444 St Charles Ave, NOLA) and other venues across New Orleans.

Participation conditions: This is an invitation-only event.

1. The Songwriting Camp participants can be composers, text authors, songwriters, instrumentalists, vocalists, and producers.

2. Participation requires sending in two pieces of one's own, along with a correctly completed Information Form. The Form will be emailed to the participant. It must be submitted by July 20th. Information submitted after the deadline may cause disqualification.

3. Once accepted, the participant will be informed of this fact by email by July 15th.

4. Participants will be selected after recommendations by an independent and qualified committee designated by the organizers. The committee will pay special attention to the compositions, arrangements, lyrics, sound features, and overall artistic expression of the recordings.

5. Decisions made by the committee will be recommendations only.

6. Should the fee transfer miss the deadline, the participant will be removed from the list.

7. Organizers will provide:

- professional studio equipment for recording audio materials,

- experienced recording engineers/producers,

- registration to Cutting Edge CE conference participation of Polish music stage stars, both in creation and recording sessions, lectures on copyright regulations, discussion panels on the latest technological innovations regarding studio work,

- all-day catering for event dates of August 26, 27, 28, and 29

- A friendly and cozy atmosphere enhances the creative process.

8. Participants cover their traveling and accommodation expenses to the Songwriters Camp.

9. Participants are obliged to bring their instruments for recording purposes.

10. Participants in Songwriters Camp must acknowledge acceptance of the percentage division of royalties related to pieces created during the event. Only the creators of the specific music will benefit from the royalty split..

11. If a music producer is a participant or is required to be a co-creator of a particular piece, the producer is included in the group of authors of a specific piece with the same right to participate in the share of royalties as the participants and stars.

12. Participation in the Cutting Edge Songwriters Camp acknowledges a voluntary agreement to be audio-recorded, photographed, filmed, or captured by other image media within the event, as well as publishing the mentioned image and voice in any programs presenting the event or the organizers' activity. Participants will not be entitled to any claims against the organizers.

13. Participants must keep the general safety regulations regarding themselves and others to avoid harmful situations.

14. The Participant bears the cost of any damage resulting from deliberate action to the detriment of the Organizers.

15. Participants are obliged to obey the order instructions of the organizer or individuals designated by the organizers.

16. Participation in the Cutting Edge Songwriters Camp acknowledges acceptance of the above rules and regulations.
