Tickets are NOT sold at the cave. They often sell out 30 days in advance, so book early at: sequoiaparksconservancy.org/crystal-cave
⚠️ CRITICAL INFO FOR YOUR VISIT:
Vehicle Limit: Vehicles over 22 feet and towed trailers are PROHIBITED on the cave road.
Travel Time: Allow at least 60 minutes to drive from the Foothills entrance to the cave parking lot.
The Hike: Expect a semi-strenuous 0.5-mile hike with steep stairs (equivalent to a 20-story building).
Temperature: It’s a constant 50°F (10°C) inside—bring a jacket!
Gear: No bags, backpacks, or strollers allowed inside the cave.
Help us protect our bats! 🦇 All visitors will participate in a quick footwear decontamination to prevent the spread of White-nose Syndrome.
