Be sure to join us on Friday June 12th at 6:30PM for our free and family-friendly Creek Creatures Program at the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters (2138 Croasdale Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). We'll take a walk through the woods and then wade into the Cherry Creek to search and dipnet for crayfish, dragonflies, fish, frogs, and macroinvertebrates. We will be wading into the creek, so please wear water shoes if you have them and clothes you don't mind getting wet! Afterwards, we'll head back inside to look at our finds under the microscope for a close-up look! Please note that service animals are welcome, but pets are not allowed.
