Texas Democrats hold conventions every two years following the primary election. Each county convenes to elect delegates to the Texas Democratic Convention and conduct important party business.This year, county conventions will be held on Saturday, March 21.
At the county convention, Democrats come together to:
Adopt resolutions (policy positions the party supports)
Elect delegates to the state convention
Conduct party business, including rules, leadership, and organizing priorities
