Community Day is on Saturday, May 16, 2026! Our theme this year is America 250 to honor the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United Sates, and provides a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together in celebration of our nation's history, spirit, and future.Community Day is a fun, family-friendly event that brings neighbors together to celebrate our local community. The day features live entertainment, food vendors, activities for kids, and booths from local organizations. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, support local businesses, and enjoy a day of connection and celebration.
We would be honored to have you join us by marching in the parade or table a booth. Your participation would help make this celebration even more vibrant and memorable for everyone.
Participants are welcome to incorporate the America 250 theme through decorations, banners, costumes, music, or other creative elements that highlight American heritage and community pride.
The parade will take place on May 16, 2026, at 12pm.
Lineup begins at 11am at the Laerdal Parking Lot located at 167 Myers Corners Rd, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
Reminder to all food vendors - Inspections need to be completed before the event and MUST be scheduled through the Building & Zoning Department.
