Annual Trash Pickup event organized by the Rotary Clubs of Nanaimo and Lantzville!
Let's work together to keep our community clean and beautiful! We meet at Bowen Park east parking lot on Wall Street and then the organizers will send you out to a pre-determined location to pick up trash. Gloves, trash bags, and some picker-uppers will be provided. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to community cleanups, everyone is welcome to participate. Let's show some love for our environment and have some fun while we're at it. See you there!
Please log into the www.rotaryinnanaimo.com website to fill out and download the required Waiver forms for everyone who is taking part in the trash pickup. Team captains can collect them and check in for the whole team, so that the team can go straight to their pickup site. You can also fill out your waiver at the Bowen site during registration.
Captains can also pick up gloves, bags, etc. for the team. Individuals can also come to the site to drop off their waivers and join up with their team. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and the pick-up area conditions. Use bright, reflective clothing to ensure safety in high-traffic areas. Limited safety vests also provided.
