40-hour intensive training in CBT, where between a small class size and a highly experiential teaching model, you will leave with both theoretical knowledge and the experience of having put that knowledge into practice. Taught by Ryan M. Sheade, LCSW, the Intensives blend core cognitive-behavioral theory and techniques with trauma theory to conceptualize your clients' issues and know how to help them best.
Within the 40 hours of the CBT Intensive, there are 3 hours for each of cultural competency and ethics. This single training meets all continuing education requirements for one full licensure cycle for Arizona social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and substance abuse counselors. The CBT Intensives also meet requirements for 40 CEUs for Arizona psychologists. If you are coming from outside of the state, please consult your licensing statutes.
