The 15th Annual Carlisle Downtown Mile, sponsored by UPMC, will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026.The Carlisle Downtown Mile is a fundraiser for Employment Skills Center’s adult education and training programs. All of our programs and classes are offered free of charge. These programs include adult basic education, GED preparation, English as a Second Language, and workforce development trainings such as Nurse Aide, Community Health Worker, EMT, Customer Service, and Computer training.
