Boone County OEM will be hosting our annual, community-wide Boone County Ready Festival on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to recognize everyday heroes in the response and preparedness fields while fostering preparedness and building resiliency in our community.
This year the family and pet-friendly event will be from 4pm to 8pm at Cosmo Park (Lamb Shelter) in Columbia. We will have food trucks, kids’ activities, vendor booths, live music, prizes and emergency kit door prizes for the first 150 households.

If the weather doesn't work in our favor our rain date will be October 1st from 3-7 p.m.
