Join your community for a historic milestone! This year, the Bonita Springs Independence Day Parade—a local tradition since 1958—is joining the nationwide celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial (250th Anniversary). Hosted by the Bonita Springs Professional Firefighters Local 3444, this year’s theme, "Small Town, Big Spirit," celebrates two and a half centuries of American history right in the heart of downtown.
Parade Highlights:
Patriotic Displays: Watch a spectacular procession of custom floats, classic cars, local marching bands, and decorated golf carts.
Community Spirit: Spectators are encouraged to line Old 41 to wave flags and celebrate together.
America 250: Special tributes and decorations honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Important Information for Attendees:
Road Closures: Old 41 Road will be closed from Rosemary Drive to Kentucky Street starting at 8:30 AM. Please arrive early to find parking and secure your viewing spot.
Follow-on Festivities: After the parade, head over to Riverside Park for the evening "Star-Spangled Bonita" celebration starting at 6:00 PM, featuring live music, food, and a 50-minute drone, laser, and fireworks show!
