Kano’hssini – Blackfoot Confederacy Child and Family Services Gathering
May 14–15, 2026 | Deerfoot Inn and Casino, Moh’kinstsis (Calgary, AB)
Kano’hssini brings together Blackfoot Confederacy Child and Family Services leadership, technical experts, and Nation representatives for two days of focused dialogue, planning, and action. This gathering is built to move beyond discussion and toward coordinated approaches that strengthen services for Blackfoot children and families across Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and Amskapi Pikuni.
Grounded in Blackfoot ways of supporting children and families, Kano’hssini will create space for direct knowledge exchange, practical solutions, and leadership direction on some of the most critical issues facing Child and Family Services systems today.
