About this Event
Guest speaker, Dr Fiona Wood will explore the pursuit of excellence in health care in an era of rapid scientific and technological advancement. While innovation offers immense potential to improve quality of life, applying these advancements in real-world clinical practice remains a complex challenge.
Dr Wood will discuss how clinical medicine differs from controlled scientific environments, as it relies on both experience and knowledge to meet the unique needs of individuals. The session will also highlight how health outcomes are shaped not only by individual care, but by broader community influences, decision-making and the key drivers of health and wellness.
