Bike Peoria Presents the 2026 Beers & Gears Pub Ride:
What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than riding a bicycle and making some fun stops along the way? This pub ride will start at Industry Brewing Company with registration from 11 a.m. until noon and then we’ll be making our way along the PPD Rock Island Greenway to the Village of Peoria Heights for a lunch of smoked turkey, pulled pork, or Seitan provided by Slow Hand BBQ and included with your registration, before heading back to Fox Pub for the afterparty which runs from 4-6 p.m. The total round trip distance of the ride is approximately 9 miles.

Pub Ride Stops:
-Registration & Stop #1: Industry Brewing (11 a.m. - noon)
-Stop #2: Tavern on Prospect in Junction City along with JC Pub (12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.)
-Stop #3: Pour Bros. Craft Taproom with lunch provided by Slow Hand BBQ in Peoria Heights (1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
-Stop #4: Parks on Tap at Bicycle Safety Town with treats from Gramma Nana’s Kitchen (2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.)
-Stop #5: Fox Pub & Cafe afterparty (4 p.m. - 6 p.m.) with live music

Parking:
The large lot to the north of Industry Brewing (start location) or the Fox Pub lot (finish location) is available for parking. Both lots are within walking distance or a short ride from one another. Please DO NOT park in the rows of parking closest to Fox Pub. If parking at Industry Brewing, please park in the rows on the east side of the lot. We appreciate your help in saving closer parking spaces for these businesses’ other customers throughout the day.

Event Registration Options:
There are several options for registering to participate in the 2025 Beers & Gears Pub Ride as shown below! Lunch from Slow Hand BBQ is included with the cost of registration (non-vegetarian and vegetarian lunches available).
$30 pre-registration price for Bike Peoria members (Basic or Premium). Discount code will be emailed to current members. Learn how to become a Bike Peoria Member.
$35 pre-registration general admission price.
$40 day of registration general admission price. For any last minute spur of the moment riders, this is the price for tickets at the Beers & Gears registration table.
Online pre-registration closes at 11:00 p.m. the night before the event. Day of registration opens at 11 a.m. the morning of the event and runs until noon.

Beer of the Event:
We're thrilled that Evergreen Farm Brewing will be brewing a special beer just for Beers & Gears 2026 that will be available during the event!

Afterparty Prize Giveaway:
At 5 PM during the afterparty, prizes will be given away to registered riders through a raffle drawing (must be present to win). Pre-registration gives you 2 raffle entries, day of registration gets you 1 raffle entry, and for the first time this year there will be an opportunity to get additional raffle entries (1 per sponsored stop location) by scanning QR codes during the event!

Proceeds:
Funds raised from Beers & Gears will go directly to support the educational and empowerment programs of Bike Peoria. Bike Peoria is a 501(c)3, volunteer run, non-profit organization that is focused on empowering more people to travel Peoria by bicycle. Together, we are working to make riding around Peoria safe, practical, and fun. Beers and Gears is our largest annual fundraiser.
