As its name suggests, Mass-Conn-Fusion draws its talent from both sides of the Massachusetts-Connecticut border. The band was formed at the University of Connecticut Music Department by bassist, James Healy. The original band name was Conn-Fusion. Following school, Jim played extensively throughoutMassachusetts with musicians from both Connecticut and Massachusetts, hence the name Mass-Conn-Fusion. The band’s extensive repertoire features Motown, R&B, Funk along with hits of the 60's right up to the present. The full ensemble features female lead vocalists, horns and a solid rhythm section. Mass-ConnFusion continues the excitement for over 40 years.
Pensacola Beach's FREE outdoor summer concert series features performers for every musical taste and is held each Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m.
Organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority, this popular event is located at the beautiful Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Spectators are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
