2026 Bagged Compost Pick Up For NYC Residents – Eastern Queens

Thanks for your interest in picking up bagged compost at our 2026 Giveback Event Series at the DSNY Eastern Queens Giveback Site at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.

NYC residents who register are eligible to take up to ten 40-pound bags of free Big Apple Compost made from your food scraps and yard waste.

On the day of the event:

• Bring your ID

• Limit ONE ticket per person. If carpooling, each person must bring their ticket and present ID showing a distinct address.

• Do not arrive before the listed pick up start time.

• Residents only. Commercial vehicles will not be serviced.

• Be prepared to load bags of compost into your own vehicle
