Spring is on the way so let’s get our trails ready to ride with a trail cleanup. This year, we're cleaning the Nickel Plate Trail focusing on the area from 42nd to 75th St. Start & Post-Ride Party Location will be in the parking lot next to Fire & Ice Cafe, 6211 Allisonville Road. We’ll have bags and grabbers so just come ready to clean!
This cleanup is sponsored by Central Indiana Cycling, Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and BRAG (Binford Redevelopment and Growth). This event is part of the Great Indy Cleanup (GIC), a Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIB) program. which, in partnership with the City of Indianapolis, provides free supplies (bags, gloves) and logistical support—including dumpsters—for community-led litter removal projects. Running from April to October, it empowers residents to clean up public spaces, with over 1 million pounds of trash removed annually."
