Come along to our annual WIP Charity Dinner where this year we will be supporting Impact 100, hear from community connector, capacity builder and philanthropist and chairperson of Impact100 SA, Kathryn House AM about making an impact.
Kathryn House AM is Chairperson of Impact100 SA and President of Zoos South Australia and a passionate advocate for community impact and philanthropy.
Impact100 SA is a volunteer led, collective giving initiative that brings together people who are committed to increasing philanthropy in our State and to raising the profile of small, grassroots charities. Impact100 SA operates on a simple but powerful model where members each contribute an annual donation, which is then pooled to fund high-impact grants to local charities. This approach enables grassroots organisations to deliver transformative projects that might otherwise struggle to secure funding.
Since its establishment, Impact100 SA has supported a diverse range of initiatives across the state, focusing on areas such as social inclusion, education, health, and community wellbeing. It represents the strength of collective giving where individual contributions combine to create meaningful, lasting change.
Kathryn has had a varied career across education, business, governance, and the not-for-profit sector. She has held senior leadership roles and serves on a number of boards, bringing deep expertise in strategy, stakeholder engagement, and community development. Her leadership is characterised by a strong commitment to purpose-driven organisations and creating opportunities for others.
In addition to her professional achievements, Kathryn is widely respected for her contribution to the community and was recognised as a Member of the Order of Australia for her service.
