The LSUS Alumni Association is excited to invite you to our 2026 Awards Brunch & Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, as we celebrate the outstanding individuals who continue to shape the legacy of LSU Shreveport. Summer is almost here, and we can't think of a better way to kick off the season and close out our fiscal year celebrating Pilot excellence. You do not have to be an alum to attend! This event is open to the public, and we encourage you to invite friends, family members, coworkers, and fellow Pilots to join us for this meaningful occasion.

General Public: $32.50
Each ticket includes a full brunch menu and one complimentary drink ticket.
The selected honorees represent the very best of the LSUS community through their leadership, service, professional achievement, and commitment to uplifting others. We are excited to celebrate their accomplishments alongside fellow alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and community supporters. This year, we are proud to recognize six new inductees into the Circle of Excellence:
Shelby Keith — Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration, LSUS
Renisha J. Sanders — Operations Director, Cardinaux Wealth Advisors
Toby J. Brooks — Director, Academy for Teaching & Learning; Clinical Professor, Baylor University
Mark Randall Cantrell — Director of Operations, Riverpark Church
Marty R. Young, Director — LSUS Pioneer Heritage Center
Kendrick James Farris — Olympic Medalist and Performance Coach, HeartWork Institute
We will also proudly honor Dr. Matthew Hefner, MD, Precision Neurosurgery of Willis Knighton Health, as our 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient.
