Community Council of Greater Dallas, The Senior Source and Visiting Nurse Association are proud to present our second annual Aging Conference. This conference will bring together professionals who serve older adults with dementia related disorders and their caregivers to address the issues that face them every day. The keynote speaker is Suzanne Blankenship, author of the book "How to Take Care of Old People Without Losing Your marbles!" She is a much sought after speaker whose insights are interesting and lively!
Panel discussions include Dementia Friendly, Aging at Home, Resources for Caregivers, Frauds and Scams, Legal Considerations, Palliative Care and many others. There will also be a resource fair and mini-stress busting session. 3.5 CEUs are available.
The event is at the Doubletree by Hilton at Love Field on June 10 from 8:00-12:00. Admission is $20 and includes admission to all speakers and panel discussions, breakfast and parking. Sponsorships are limited, but a few are still available.
