About Our Speaker: Kenneth Wong, a second-generation Chinese American from Philadelphia, is a highly accomplished entrepreneur, civic leader, and innovator. He served on President George W. Bush’s White House Initiative for Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders, focusing on economic development, and later chaired Pennsylvania’s Governor’s Commission for Asian American Affairs. From 2017 to 2025, he was appointed Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army – Pennsylvania East, providing strategic guidance and community outreach. Ken currently serves on multiple boards, including USA Badminton and the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. As an entrepreneur, he is founder and CEO of CIG Asia, Ltd., a national insurance brokerage, NavPac Advisors, LLC, a U.S.–Asia business consulting firm, and co-founder of Katharos Holdings – USA, advancing environmentally friendly battery storage technology. Ken resides in Philadelphia, is a former varsity athlete at Penn State University, and is the proud father of two adult daughters.
