Let's meet and show our Virginia Tech pride and honor those who lost their life at the place we all love. We will meet at the parking lot of the pool in the River's Bend community in Chester and begin our walk at 6:15pm. I have checked the forcasted sunset time and we should be fine. This will allow those time to get in from work and then get to us.Not a Hokie, but still want to gather with us? Wear the colors you support - after all, there we so many posts that year from so many schools who shared the sorrow of the Hokie Nation.
Please note we are having this a little earlier than the anniversary date to give those a chance to participate in person in Blacksburg on April 18th.
While it is not a requirement that you register to participate virtually, Virginia Tech does like to keep as much of a record as possible of those attending *virtual* events, so while we as an Alumni group are walking in-person, it is my understanding you will register for virtual unless you are actually attending the event in Blacksburg.
