Queen, one of the world's greatest bands from the United Kingdom. It’s no exaggeration to say that their popularity first bloomed in Japan.
Thanks to the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody," Queen has seen a resurgence in popularity and continues to attract new fans.
This event will be aimed at Japanese Queen fans and Queen fans from abroad living in Japan. And it will the very first time that this sort of talk show to be conducted in Japan in English language, coupled with a tribute live-show at BAUHAUS ROPPONGI, a live music and bar popular with foreign rock fans.
The talk show will be hosted by half-Peruvian, half-Japanese rock singer REINA, and will feature British music journalist Glenn Williams and Mr. Shunichiro Mori, former Toshiba EMI member in charge of Queen.
The tribute concert will be performed by Queeness, led by Yohei “Freddie” Eto, whose predecessor band was featured on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 in the UK, had a hugely successful London performances, and who received a letter of appreciation from SIr. Brian May himself for the work.
This will be the first tribute event in Japan with talk show and live performances conducted in English.
There will also be an after-show following the event, where the BAUHAUS Band will perform a live performance of 80s hits.
