I will be using a no tolerance policy for rude, disruptive and disrespectful behavior from here on out for both the planning phase and the actual shoot. If I find that any given person's conduct is out of line in anyway they will be removed from the event.
If you have any issues with any other participant or any issues with any other participant's costume bring those issues to either Joe Colton or Danny Hunter’s attention IN PRIVATE and we will try and bring about an amicable resolution for everyone involved. DO NOT post about those issues publicly on this page unless specifically asked to do so by us.
We are all adults here and should be able to act accordingly, if we can not, this is not the place for us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation on this.
Respect your fellow costumers and please be courteous to the volunteer photographers and directors. We have a Zero Tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. If you see any behavior that is out of line, please report it to me.
Any children that parents or guardians believe to be capable of doing so are permitted to participate in this shoot. Yes, they must adhere to the same rules and guidelines as everyone else.
Any child under the age of 16 participating in the shoot MUST be accompanied by an adult (either in costume or plain clothes). This is for their safety and is non-negotiable.
Photographers: You are more than welcome to photograph our group and it's participants. Please make sure to get permission for any solo or small group shots not posed by our directors. Please remember that our Official photographers take precedence so please do as they ask regarding space and where they need you to be and not be. We ask that you be courteous to our staff and to each other as well. Any photographer(s) purposefully blocking other photographer's shots will be asked to leave.
We want to get a few "class" shots for posterity, but for this shoot we are going to try to get as many dynamic and smaller group shots as time will allow. The goal is to get all participants into at least one shot where they can feel "featured".
We have a defined "end of shoot" time so if you have shots you'd really like us to try be prepared to step up and tell me so that we can make sure any reasonable requests are gotten to without hold-ups.
We understand everyone wants to get in on the fun, but the purpose of this shoot is to show off our love for the Wonder Woman Universe through the best cosplay style costumes that we can offer. As such there are some COSTUME GUIDELINES in place for this shoot:
Fitness/Running costumes are not permitted.
"Themed outfits", store-bought "Party City", "Rubies", "Halloween Express", "Legs Avenue," Etc. costumes are not permitted.
Unmodified jeans, Store-bought T-Shirts, hoodie or other such everyday wear costumes are not permitted.
If you were able to purchase every piece of your costume from Walmart, target or a store in the mall, it's considered a themed outfit, not a costume for the purposes of this photoshoot.
If you have a questionable costume, or think you might, please private message me about it. All decisions on allow-ability of costumes are at the sole discretion of the organizer and all such decisions are final.
Giant Props. Since we’ve moved to the Hilton Steps, space is not AS limited but please keep in mind we want to be able to fit everyone into frame we ask you not to bring, or to be ready to put aside giant props during pictures. If you'd like to bring a giant prop, please ask ahead of the shoot.
Duplicate will be allowed this year. Another rule make sure to have fun. We're going to do the best we can in this is the first year we're doing it this way there will be no sign up but here's the character list below.
