2025 Women of Vision Awards
Join us for the 2025 Women of Vision Awards at the Virginia Tech Research Center - Arlington! This in-person event celebrates the remarkable achievements of visionary women who have made a significant. Get inspired by their stories of success and empowerment.
Submit a Nomination for a Women of Vision!
The Arlington County Commission on the Status of Women is soliciting nominations for the 2025 Women of Vision Awards. These awards honor women for their accomplishments and contributions to improving the lives and opportunities for Arlington residents, especially women. The 2025 Awards Committee seeks nominations for this year’s awardees across the following categories: (1) Business, (2) Non-profits, and (3) Government/Public Sector. Inspiring nominees in the Non-profits category need not be affiliated with a formal non-profit entity.
Nominations must be by 11:59 PM on February 14, 2025.
The awardees selected have demonstrated a strong commitment to women’s issues. They have communicated their vision for women and engaged community members and other leaders in order to realize this vision and improve the livelihood of Arlingtonians. Award recipients must live, work, or volunteer in Arlington, Virginia. View the nomination criteria here.
To support the costs of food and printing, a suggested donation of $25/person is appreciated but not required. Contributions can be made via cash or check the night of the event. Checks can be made out to the Commission on the Status of Women.

About the Arlington County Commission on the Status of Women
The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) works to advance initiatives and policies that empower women and serves as a community advocate and resource on the social and economic interests of all Arlington women. The CSW is an Arlington County Board advisory group and members are appointed by the County Board.
