Join us for a day of fun and fundraising for world peace!We will gather at picnic tables located by the parking lot at Saluda River Walk, engage in a meditation together, take a walk along the beautiful river park, and end back at the meeting area for a picnic!
Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $10,000
The proceeds from our Walk will help support KMC South Carolina’s Education Programs and maintain our Center, teacher housing and transportation. Specifically repairing our center car which needs a new High Voltage Battery. Also to prepare for the possibility of a move when our lease is up in October 2026.
As our founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (Geshe-la) says,
“Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.”
By increasing our own inner peace, we can bring about world peace.
This year we are dedicating the walk to Mark Gould our dear sangha friend who recently passed away. An excellent Dharma Teacher, Mark was loved by everyone and was inspirational in his example during his life and death.
