The power of visualization is truly magical. Studies show that when we are able to visualize what we want in life, we are more likely to achieve our goals and dreams. A vision board helps us get clear on what we want. When we have a visual reminder that we look at on a daily basis, we are no longer shooting in the dark. Instead, we have direction, and our unconscious mind goes to work figuring out HOW to make it happen.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. When we begin to create our vision board, it’s important to NOT think about the HOW. Let’s have fun creating our vision boards. Let’s dream big and allow ourselves to imagine the lifestyle we want to live. The how will come later.
There are several ways to create a vision board, and there is no right or wrong way. We will give you some ideas and talk a little bit about two distinctly different ways to create a vision board. There’s the “LET IT FLOW” way, when you allow images and words to form without planning your board ahead. Then there’s the “HIGHLY STRATEGIC” way, which implements a plan for deciding what images will go on your board.
We focus on five specific categories in life:
- Health + Well-being
- Love + Relationships
- Work/Business
- Time + Money Prosperity
- Spirituality/Purpose
We have created a workbook that guides you through the process of getting clear on your goals in each of these areas of your life. Then, when you sit down to create your board, you know what images you are looking for, and you go to work building your vision.
We will send you the complimentary workbook to help guide you through the process of getting strategic about the images you include on your vision board. You may choose to use the workbook or not. What type of VISION BOARD you want to create for yourself is really up to you. If you do decide to use the workbook, we suggest filling it out in advance and bringing a printed copy with you so you can get right to work on your board when the workshop begins.
