"The Church & the Public Square: Pathways for Putting Faith into Action"What is the role of the church in politics? How do we discern our engagement in the public square as believers and citizens? Join us for a transformative weekend with Rev. Dr. Leah D. Schade, an acclaimed theologian, preacher, and author, as we explore how faith communities can respond to today’s challenges with wisdom, courage, and action.
We will gather at 9:00AM and have two sessions with Rev. Dr. Schade in the morning, followed by a pot-luck lunch and a closing Q&A. Rev. Dr. Schade will also be preaching at St. Stephen's two worship services on Sunday, Sept. 21 with an opportunity for discussion between services.
