About the Parade:
The 30th Masonic District Annual Christmas Parade is a time-honored tradition that has been enchanting the hearts of our community for decades.
This parade is a testament to the unity and holiday spirit that defines the season.
Come and witness the magic as elaborately decorated floats, festive bands, local organizations, and Santa Claus himself make their way through the historic streets of Statesville.
The proceeds from the parade go to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, and Whitestone, a retirement community founded by the Masonic and Eastern Star community offering continued care to seniors.
Parade Highlights:
1. Diverse Participants: Our parade features a diverse array of participants, including local schools, businesses, community organizations, and of course, the Masonic lodges of the 30th District.
2. Festive Floats: Experience the creativity and holiday cheer with stunningly decorated floats that bring to life the essence of Christmas.
3. Musical Ensembles: Enjoy the melodious tunes of marching bands, carolers, and other musical groups that will have you tapping your feet and singing along.
4. Santa Claus: The grand finale of the parade is the arrival of Santa Claus himself, marking the official start of the holiday season. Be sure to wave and share your holiday wishes with Santa as he passes by!
RULES OF PARTICIPATION:
ABSOLUTELY NO throwing of candy or other objects from moving vehicle; walkers may hand out candy.
NO stopping of procession to perform dance, cheer, or other routines.
ALL motorcyclists and passengers MUST wear helmets (in correct position) and you may not “hot-dog”.
NO live Santa Clauses are allowed in your group; Santa will appear at the end of the parade.
Any animal/horse entry is responsible for having a designated person to follow animals and remove animal waste immediately.
Depot Hill is reserved for large trailers and emergency vehicles only. Entrants must stage in their designated area.
All participant entry fees are non-refundable. All proceeds from the parade will be donated to Masonic Charities.
This is a family friendly event. No profanity or vulgarity will be tolerated. All entries must be appropriate and/or Christmas themed.
Any violation of these rules may result in your entry being removed from the parade.
