About this Event
The State of the Valley conference is Silicon Valley’s annual “town hall” meeting, an intensive half-day gathering examining our region’s trends and challenges. The centerpiece is the Silicon Valley Index, an internationally recognized publication that has been telling the Silicon Valley story since 1995. The report presents hundreds of indicators measuring community health and the vitality of our ecosystem, and the data becomes a powerful tool empowering citizens and equipping decision makers.
The 2025 State of the Valley is an in-person (non-streaming) event being held at San Jose State University on Friday March 7 (from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM). It will feature extensive briefings from the lead researchers at Joint Venture’s Institute for Regional Studies, and will culminate with keynote remarks by PBS commentator and New York Times columnist David Brooks.
