The fifth annual SA Veterans Day at Hemisfair will take place on Saturday, November 8, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.This free, family-friendly event honors the veterans of today and tomorrow with live entertainment and interactive activities for the whole family. The day kicks off with a Fun Run 5K from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, inviting participants of all ages to show their support ahead of the main festivities.
At 1:00 PM, a special Veterans Day Ceremony will feature a presentation of the colors, remarks from community leaders, and a commemorative military flyover.
Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy live music, great food and drinks, and engaging entertainment, all at no cost, while connecting with veteran-supporting organizations offering resources and services.
