About this Event
2025 MLK Day Story Time @ Kennett Library
Come join Voices Underground and Kennett Library (children's area) for a special MLK Day Story Time event on Saturday, January 18, 2025! Bring your little ones for a fun and educational storytelling session celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. Let's honor this great leader together through stories that inspire and teach valuable lessons. This in-person event promises to be a heartwarming experience for families. Don't miss out on this opportunity to commemorate MLK Day with us at the library! There will be a complimentary book, activities, and snacks.
Our story will be read by Kennett High School's own Chanel August Ruffin, Assistant Principal.
Voices Underground (VU) is a social enterprise initiative of Lincoln University, Longwood Gardens, and Square Roots Collective. VU promotes racial healing through storytelling.
