Martin Luther King Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated by Congress as a National Day of Service. The holiday not only honors the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. but also encourages all to volunteer to improve their communities.

PARTICIPATE IN THE CELEBRATION:
Contact an organization in Culver City to inquire and sign up for any of their community service opportunities. Organizations can include churches schools non-profits community organizations service groups etc. There is no minimum number of community service hours required. Upon completion please complete the Day of Service Recognition Form. The last day to complete the recognition form is Sunday December 22nd. Each participant will receive a certificate of recognition at the King Day Celebration!
