On Sunday, December 28, at 5:30PM, in union with bishops around the world, Bishop Bullock will celebrate a solemn Mass marking the close of the local observance of the Jubilee Year 2025 in our Diocese. This will be the last opportunity to make a Jubilee Year pilgrimage to the Cathedral.During the presentation of the gifts, at this Mass only, all are invited to bring offerings for the Birthright of Rapid City perpetual collection (listed below) to designated areas in the sanctuary. This act will recall for us that authentic acts of charity can continue long after the Jubilee Year ends.

* new or slightly used baby clothing size 0 to 6 months
* preemie clothes
* newborn diapers
* hooded towels
* bibs
* baby toys and rattles
* receiving blankets
* nightgowns
Pope Leo XIV will formally close the Holy Doors in Rome on January 6, marking the end of the Jubilee Year for the universal Church.
