The Hankins / Johnson Education Foundation Golf Classic allows casual golfers and enthusiast alike to Swing, Slice, Chip and Putt with a Purpose.
The I.S. Hankins - F.A. Johnson Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, in conjunction with the Delta Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., will host our 4th Annual Hankins Johnson Education Foundation Golf Classic September 6, 2025. Registration and practice facilities available at 7:30am. Shotgun, Scramble at 8:30 am. Lunch, awards, and prizes at 1:30pm.
Proceeds will fund our scholarships, Young Men of Distinction (YMOD), Mentoring Program, Head Start to Literacy Initiative, STEM Club, and other foundation programs and projects. We awarded $35,000 in scholarships last year. We are on pace to exceed that amount in 2025. We delivered over one thousand (1,000) books and large quantities of supplies to Head Start centers in Orange County last year. We are on pace to exceed that support this year.
