Join the Finlandia Foundation National Capital Chapter for a night of artistry and entertainment, Finnish food, and a silent auction to benefit our scholarship funds.
Hear the performance of Violinist Charlotte Loukola, the 2025 Finlandia Foundation performer of the year. Ms. Loukola will perform her special solo performance for us. She is an experienced soloist, chamber violinist, orchestra member and Assistant Concertmaster. Ms. Loukola has recently begun to mesmerize audiences in the Palm Beach area and will perform with the Palm Beach Opera, New Camerata Opera, Palm Beach Symphony and South Florida Symphony Orchestra this year.
In addition we will celebrate our chapter's 65 year history.
Please be ready to support our Silent Auction to benefit our annual scholarship fund! This year we are excited to share items from crocheted Moomins to Finnish handiwork and exquisite artwork sculptures to wine and popular Finnish spirits and Finn-authored books to tickets to local venues to enjoy time and celebrations together. We will have offerings in many price ranges hoping to raise money to support our many recipients.
Admission price includes dinner and beverages. Finnish cuisine catered by our favorite Chef Mikko, longtime local DC restaurant owner.
