About this Event

The 2025 Farmers Market Boot Camp is for new (and returning) market managers, staff, and board members. This is a virtual training (via Zoom). General sessions will be held on two Thursdays, March 13 and 20 from 9:00am to 12:00pm (Pacific Time). In addition, each State Partner will offer a third, state-specific session to share local resources. Dates and times are listed below. New in 2025, we are offering an addition session for Board Members, Advisors, and other farmers market organization leaders.

🎟️ Tickets are $25 with a Promo Code for farmers markets that are members the WSFMA or affiliated with our State Partners (or $75 without a Promo Code).

🥕 GENERAL SESSIONS: Thurs, March 13 and 20 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Pacific Time)

The first two days of Boot Camp provide general farmers markets tools and training for anyone who has just been hired, is looking for a refresher, updated information, to expand their knowledge. We encourage new (and returning) board members to attend to learn more about farmers market operations, their role in sustaining a strong market organization, and building a great team.

🥕 BOARD SESSION: All Boot Campers are welcome! This session focuses on tools and tips for farmers market organizations. Tues, March 18 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Pacific Time)

🥕 STATE DAY SESSION: dates vary

The WSFMA and each of our State Partners host a third Boot Camp session dedicated to each state's key agriculture, health, food access and other partners, programs, and resources for farmers markets. Days and times vary.

Boot Camp participants will receive a specific Zoom link for your State Day unless the event will be held in person.

Alaska Farmers Market Association (AFMA): Wed, April 2 from 10:00am-1:00pm (Alaska Time).
Idaho Farmers Market Association (IFMA): Thurs, March 27 from 9:00am-12:00pm (Mountain Time).
Ohio Farmers Market Network (OFMN): In person. Friday, March 7 starting at 10:30am at Ohio Dept of Ag, Reynoldsburg, OH in conjunction with the Ohio Farmers Market Conference.
Oregon Farmers Markets Association (OFMA): Thurs, March 27 from 9:00am-12:00pm (Pacific). Includes OFMA Annual Meeting.
Utah Farmers Market Network (UFMA): Thurs, March 27 from 9:00am - 12:00pm (Mountain Time).
Washington State Farmers Market Association (WSFMA): Thurs, March 27 from 9:00am-12:00pm (Pacific).
