About this Event
Join Reef Healers for our Fall River Cleanup on the Cache la Poudre River at Riverbend Ponds Natural Area on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
As winter approaches, we’re working to clear litter and debris from the river before snow and ice move it downstream toward the ocean. Every piece of trash we remove helps protect local wildlife, improve water quality, and keep our rivers healthy — because clean rivers lead to healthy reefs.
Volunteers will meet in the parking lot at Riverbend Ponds for introductions, safety briefing, and supplies. Reef Healers will provide trash buckets, gloves, and grabber tools, along with snacks and drinks.
Please wear close-toed shoes or boots that can get muddy, and bring a reusable water bottle. This is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome.
Together, we can protect water from the rivers to the reefs.
What to Expect:
- Meet and greet with the Reef Healers team
- Short orientation on water quality and ocean health
- Group cleanup along the Cache la Poudre River
- Sorting and weighing collected trash to measure impact
- Refreshments and community connection
