Greetings AJA MEMBERS!!!! We are one week away from the Fall Conference and we are so excited to see everyone! There has been a change to the itinerary and training: we will have Sr. Scottt Holmes joining us and he will instructing on Mental Health First Aide - Concentrating on Law Enforcement and Corrctions Mental Health First Aide. This is a bonus!!! If you attend all three training sessions you will receive a certificate of certification in Mental Health First Aide. This is an 8 hour course and would typically cost around 1000.00! We are grateful to Dr. Scott Holmes for joining us on such short notice and helping our attendees earn a certificate of certification while at the conference!
Our theme party will be on Wednesday night in the hospitality suite and the theme this time is Neon Western! Pack your cowboy hats, boots and western wear and join us for music, drinks and a yee haw good time!
Registration opens Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM and will be open until 4:00 PM. If you or someone you know hasn’t registered, we do offer onsite registration! The Island House booked up fast so they will need to contact the hotel for informstion on room rate and availability.
Tshirts will be available for purchase @ 25.00 each. Only early bird registration received a free conference tshirt.
We will not have the usual Meet and Greet on Tuesday evening but we will have our President’s Dinner Thursday evening beginning at 6:00PM.
