An annual display of the Olympic sport of Judo.
Established in 2006 and growing each year. Entries range from 8 to Veterans in all weight categories from yellow belt and higher. Recently, Newaza was added and it too is growing. This is a Judo Canada Level A event and an important Canadian Senior National Team points tournament which ensures strong competition from Canada and abroad. 2024 saw approximately 1200 entries.
Edmonton International Judo Championship is located at the Ice Palace in the largest mall in North America--West Edmonton Mall.
