To participate, just bring a gently used or new Derby hat with you, find a dreamy new hat from our selection, and swap! You can exchange your hat as many times as you want over the course of the event. Don’t have a Derby Hat? Don’t worry, we'll have extras for sale!
Love your hat, but feel like it needs a little extra something?
For an extra $35, you can ‘zhuzh’ up your hat with the help of professional hat designers... think feathers, flowers, ribbon, netting and all the embellishments!
🏇 Derby-Themed Silent Auction 🏇
There will be a silent auction with Derby Hats, liquor, spirits, apparel, home decor, experiences, jewelry, and other fun Derby-related items up for grabs. Items will be auctioned online - you can bid even if you’re not attending the event!
👗 Derby Pop-Up Boutique 👗
In addition to hats, we’ll have a pop-up boutique to round out your fit. Derby dresses starting at only $12, jewelry, and bags - you’ll be ready to wow at the track (or party)!

Tickets are $50 and include unlimited hat exchanges, brunch bites, welcome cocktail (cash bar also available), and a fun, festive time! All proceeds directly benefit Dress for Success Louisville programs.
