It is that time of the year again and Jerry Corrado has completed his 2025 Christmas light display. After 6-weeks of running around and anchoring everything down and building all the new decorations, he will be flipping the switch on Thanksgiving night, November 27th and putting out the TOY BOXES to begin our 2025 toy drive again this year. The donations every year are tremendous, and we meet so many families throughout the year whose children, grandchildren or relatives receive toys when they are either in the Pediatric Unit for an extended stay or in the Emergency Room at Chester County Hospital for treatment. A toy makes all the difference to a child when they are not feeling well.We also deliver each year gift cards from the cash donations we receive for the nurses to use to purchase items for the NICU or to buy certain electronic items for older teenage patients in the hospital. Since Jerry knows what it is like to be stuck in a hospital for over 4-months being treated for his leukemia a few years back, days are very long for the patient, so we started collecting items for adult patents as well.
Chester County Hospital Pediatric Unit/ER (new unwrapped toys, coloring books, puzzles, crafts, Amazon gift cards, Wawa gift cards, etc.)
Chester County Hospital Adult Hospital Patients (adult coloring books/pencils/markers, word search & crossword puzzle books).
Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (toys, Wawa, Walmart & Target gift cards, items for female recipients – shampoo, deodorant, small diary/notebooks, nail polish, etc.)
Family Services of Chester County (Socks, underwear and sweatshirts – both children sizes & adult sizes)
