Note: All tickets are for the same event and the same service. If you buy early, the price is cheaper. The vessel sails from Pier 40 in South Beach Harbor, San Francisco or from Marina Yacht Habor where you will be able to board at our dock in Richmond.
The Derek M. Baylis is a marine research sailing vessel used for research and education along the California coast. The Baylis has been involved in projects including whale tagging in the Channel Islands, shark tagging in the Faralones, and earthquake and marine debris mapping in the Bay. Your tickets will help to support further research and education programs for non-profits that use the Baylis for their work.
