Join us at for the West Suburban Humane Society’s 5th Annual Barkapalooza 5k and Rescue Event located at Lisle Community Park. This family and pet friendly event will be filled with plenty of pet-friendly activities and giveaways. There will be a pet blessing at 9:00 a.m., live entertainment, Pet Costume Parade, agility training, nail trimming, pooch smooch, food trucks, vendors and more! Stop by and say hi to Chi-Town Pitties, Inc. and other rescue groups and grab some exclusive CTP Merch. Entry into the rescue event is $20.00 per car. There is also a 5k race at 8:00 a.m. as well as a 9:30 a.m. 1k Waggin’ Tails Walk which requires separate registration. Entry into the rescue event is included when you sign up to walk or run in the 5k or Waggin’ Tails Walk. To register, sign up at http://raceroster.com/events/2025/102318/barkapalooza. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. on September 27, 2025. You can also register your dogs into the Barkminster Pet Contest. Dog show registration can be selected as an add-on to your registration at no cost.
