The 2025 Asheville Film Festival will be held August 15th-17th, 2025 at the Asheville Masonic Temple in beautiful downtown Asheville, North Carolina.Asheville Film Festival, Co. is a North Carolina non-profit whose vision is to create and grow a platform for regional and local innovative filmmakers with stories to tell. That vision has lead to the "relaunch" of the Asheville Film Festival in 2025 which begins August 15th with our "First Day Matinée Film Block" followed by more short film screenings, an awards night gala, and ending with more film blocks and filmmaker Q&A's on Sunday, August 17th. This year we will showcase short films, fiction and non-fiction (documentary) short films (less than 65 mins.) that have not yet won the top award at another film festival as of the time of their submission to Asheville Film Festival.
Attendees can purchase tickets for individual screening blocks, workshops, and the awards night gala for $10. Weekend passes that get you into all the events throughout the festival are also available for $89.

Filmmaker Workshop: Tools & Techniques of Motion Picture Lighting: 10:30-11:30am
Feature Screening: "The Other Side of Learning: A Deeper Conversation about Education in the US": 11:55-1pm

Seeking Connection Film Block: 2:30-4pm
Nature's Medicine Film Block: 4:15-5:15pm
Awards Night Gala: 7-9pm
Sunday, August 17th
Love Thru Darkness Film Block: 10:30-11:45am
